![]() Now, I just click a button and have a six-week meal plan. I even made it so it'll go through each category of meals I have and rotate through them with random meals from that category. I can specify which days of the week I'm going to cook (both easy meals and involved ones), which days I'm going to eat out, and which days I'm going to eat leftovers. I'm okay at excel, so I made a spreadsheet that goes a little bit further than just listing meals. I wouldn't have a solid plan and end up not having the ingredients I need, or I'd have a hard time thinking of good meals to make, or end up having the same thing over and over. I've always struggled with planning meals in advance. If you are new to R/Frugal check out our WIKI for helpful tools, answers to FAQs and links to recommended subreddits. I just set it up to easily show the general format of the spreadsheet at this time.Frugality is the mental approach we each take when considering our resource allocations. For example, in Breakfast, ingredient 1 across all meal plans is a different food. So I'm hoping for a cleaner, easier to read format. But it looks kind of sloppy as each meal plan has different number of food in each meal. They're from celebrities, dietitians, and different cuisines. In Google Sheets, I currently have a spreadsheet of more than 10 meal plans. Please be patient, sometimes it takes a couple of minutes.
